Inflation of Pontianak City November 2017 is -0.25 Percent (Deflation)

Abstract

In November 2017 in Pontianak Municipality deflation occurred -0.25 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 139.31.

The deflation was due to a decrease in index in the three expenditure groups and the increase in index in the three expenditure groups. Expenditure groups that experienced a decrease in the index of foodstuffs group -1, 13 percent, the group of finished food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco -0.05 percent; and clothing group -0.04 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure group that experienced an increase in index, namely housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.03 percent; 0.07 percent healthcare group and 0.02 percent for transportation, communication and financial services group. While the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience an index change.

The November 2010 calendar year inflation rate is 3.35 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (November 2017 to November 2016) is 4.31 percent
