Poverty Has Decreased, Kubu Raya Has Become The District with The Lowest Poverty Rate in West Borneo

On Monday, December 14, 2020, the Kubu Raya District Poverty Reduction Coordination Meeting was held in the Main Praja Room of the Kubu Raya Regent's Office which started at 13.00 WIB. The event was chaired by Mr Muda Mahendrawan as the Regent of Kubu Raya. The event was attended by various Heads of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) and several camat. The meeting material included a description of the labor situation and poverty conditions in Kubu Raya in 2020, which was presented by Ir. Anton Manurung, MM as the head of BPS Kubu Raya Regency. From the results of the Head of BPS's explanation, it was found that the poverty data of Kubu Raya Regency was decreasing and Kubu Raya Regency became the district with the lowest poverty rate in West Kalimantan Province. This is a good achievement for the Kubu Raya Regional Government in reducing poverty in 2020.

In addition, there will be a launching event for the Dunia Desa website created by Kubu Raya's sons, which contains information about the villages in Kubu Raya. This information includes village officials, population, population characteristics, area and village potentials. From this application, it is hoped that the community and government can see and develop the potentials of the villages in Kubu Raya so that the Kubu Raya Regency Government can maintain its achievement as a district with the lowest poverty rate in West Kalimantan Province.
