Official Announcement of MAKO SP2020

The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) which will soon be held is a major activity carried out by BPS every ten years. In the initial stages of preparation for the 2020 Population Census, coordination and consolidation need to be built in order to expedite the activities to be carried out in the future by the relevant parties. Therefore, the 2020 Population Census Regional Secretariat was established called the Provincial Coordination Headquarters (MAKO) to facilitate the implementation of SP2020. The provincial MAKO team is part of the SP2020 Preparation Team with the main task being an internal bridge in the SP2020 Preparation Team in the province and is a bridge between the Regency / City BPS and the Central BPS.

On Thursday, October 17, 2019, the inauguration of the 2020 Population Census Coordination Team (MAKO) was held at the BPS Building in West Kalimantan Province. Led by Mr. Ir. Pitono, MAP as the Head of BPS of West Kalimantan Province, this activity is going well. Symbolically, the inauguration of the 2020 Population Census was carried out by cutting rice cone. Mr. Ir. Anton Manurung, M.M. as the Head of BPS Kubu Raya also attended and became one of the representatives of the BPS Head of the Regency / City to symbolically give a piece of cone to the Head of Social BPS BPS West Kalimantan Province.
